This Friday – The Seamus Egan Project

Next Stage Arts Project and Twilight Music present an evening of Celtic music by The Seamus Egan Project on Friday, July 28 at 7:30 pm. A founding member of the legendary Irish-American supergroup Solas, Seamus is an incredibly talented songwriter, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, dazzling us all on the Irish flute, tenor banjo, guitar, mandolin, tin whistle and low whistle. His new band, which features Moira Smiley on vocals, piano and banjo, covers Seamus’ immense and influential catalog of music – from his three solo albums though his 20 years with Solas – and like Solas, explores the further reaches of the Celtic tradition and beyond.

Tickets are $22 Advance / $25 At the Door. For information, call 802-387-0102. Advance tickets are available at, Turn It Up in Brattleboro and Putney Food Co-Op in Putney.
